Amanda Johnson, Executive Director

Amanda joined the Howe Community Resource Center team in July 2012. Amanda received her Master's Degree in Social Work from UW-Oshkosh in 2011. Amanda previously worked as a case manager for families experiencing homelessness and in crisis intervention. Amanda is looking forward to empowering families and providing all of the resources necessary to strengthen their bonds and abilities to parent. In her free time, Amanda can be found with her husband watching their children play sports.

Amanda schaefer, Director of Engagement

Amanda joined the team in August 2020. She went to college at Winona State and received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Criminal Justice. As well as holding a scholarship on their track and field team. Amanda has worked in supervised visitation, and was the supervisor of a group home for individuals with developmental delays for two years. Amanda is passionate about working with social media, improving leadership skills, and advocating for others. Amanda enjoys spending time with her nephew, cats, and friends.

Holly brockman, mental health professional

Holly joined our Howe Community Resource Center in May 2014. Holly received her Masters in Social Work degree from UW-Madison in 2012. Holly was a former home visitor for 6.5 years, but is currently working as a mental health professional serving children 0-12 and their families. Holly has experience in case management, home visiting, trauma informed care, counseling, play therapy, and working with families of all backgrounds. Holly has a passion for helping children become the best versions of themselves, and helping families achieve success. Holly enjoys spending her free time with her cat, her family and friends, and enjoys the summer months so she can be outdoors.

Katey Heiser, Director of Parenting services

Katey began at the Howe Community Resource Center as a BSW intern in September of 2018. She was hired on as a permanent staff member in May of 2019. Katey has a Bachelor of Social Work Degree and an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Katey previously worked in a childcare setting for 3 years. In her free time, Katey enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, reading and watching football.

Pam Miller, Project Manager-Parent educator

Pam joined the Howe Community Resource Center team in October, 2017. Pam previously worked in the corporate sector, both in the Insurance and Medical fields, for over 30 years. Upon retirement from the corporate world, Pam discovered the passion of working with parents and families in developing a strong, nurturing family connection through parenting and family education. Pam is a certified Triple P Provider and holds classes on a regular basis with many of our partners and here at the Howe Community Resource Center. Pam is also a certified Patient Advocate and Advanced Care Planning facilitator, who can assist families with navigating the healthcare system(s) and developing Advance Care planning needs. In her spare time, Pam enjoys traveling, gardening and supporting family members in their sports activities.

Natalie Everetts,

Bilingual Parent Educator

Natalie officially joined the Howe Resource Center team in 2021. Her role at Howe goes back to 2016 when she began covering receptionist duties for both the center and the Oral Health Partnership. Previously she worked for WIC as a bilingual clerk. After many years of administrative experience, she is excited to begin her journey as a Bilingual Parent Educator. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and home improvement projects.

Maddy Didier, parent Educator

Maddy joined the team in February 2021. She went to college at UW- Green Bay and received her bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science with a certificate in Nonprofit Management. Maddy has worked in several elementary and middle school classrooms. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories!
