HCRC expands programming to House of Hope
In response to new needs, Howe Community Resource Center is now offering programs to help strengthen the parent child bond for families living at House of Hope. We have offered parenting classes for mothers there for some time. Recently, we were told that these moms wanted more education on parent-child interaction and programming that involves parents and children. So, this summer, we began hosting a parent-child playgroup at House of Hope each week. We also offer our popular PALS class, which introduces letters, numbers, colors and literacy to families. Each playgroup/class encourages interaction between mother and child and also helps moms to understand their child’s development. Stay tuned for many more additions!
